Man Up Review

Man Up Review

A woman (Lake Bell) happened to be at the right time, right place, with the wrong date. She became to "steal" a girl's blind date with Mr. Right (Simon Pegg) and decided to play along and see what it would be like.

The movie will begin already grabbing some chuckles, because of the boring, depressed, antisocial and disorganized life the protagonist has. Even though you could easily guess what would happen in a few minutes, it wouldn't upset you, because, after all, it is a comedy movie.

The date went from a mistake, to a possible future relation, and then back again to a disaster because of several discoveries of each other's life. Both didn't have any idea of what their future would look like, as they had no solution. Yet, the movie has a tons of plot twists, just when everything seems to be solved and perfect, the situation changes, tearing out some "Noo!!" from the public. And so, you definitely will be engaged with attitudes and actions taken by the characters, always doing the opposite from what expected.

I'm not going to give any spoilers, but spoilers for comedy movies don't really matter, because the laughter is what really matters and not the plot. However, it will have a regular comedy movie ending, not as boring as other movies, but also having a happy ending.

And so, I send-off, yet don't forget to take a glimpse in Netflix and reserve some time for the laughters. Enjoy!
